Went to do a little infield testing with my camera. I was on some hogs during this test but forget to hit the stupid record button. O! Well maybe next time. I’m really impressed with this set up. A couple lessons I’ve learned. Set your tripod high, the illuminator just bounces light of the ground. Pre-set your distance because the focusing apparatus is very sensitive (mine is at 50 yards). DO NOT USE your video camera’s infrared light, it washes out color beyond 30 yards. Best lesson learned is the digital infrared enhancer off the Yukon monocular is about 5-7x more powerful then the infrared enhancer on my ATN night vision scope. It’s simply incredible. Finally shout out to DNAHOGHUNTER for all the tips and advice!
